Replacement model
A replacement model is the id the provider names as the substitute for the one that is going away. If the official page does not name one, there is no replacement to invent.

Where the name is printed
OpenAI's deprecations tables have a recommended replacement column. Anthropic's deprecation announcements name a recommended replacement. The Gemini deprecations table has a recommended replacement column. Vertex has a replacement model id column. Azure's retirement schedule has a replacement column.
Bedrock tells you to move to an Active model. A Bedrock lifecycle row does not always name a single replacement id. When the page does not name one, the SunsetDiff replacement field stays empty.
