OpenAI shuts down 5 models on February 26, 2027: gpt-4o-mini-transcribe, gpt-4o-mini-transcribe-2025-12-15, gpt-4o-transcribe, gpt-4o-transcribe-diarize, and whisper-1. Official replacements named by the provider: gpt-live-transcribe and gpt-transcribe. Requests to these models start failing on that date.
